Society member and former editor of he Journal Anne Gwyn has compiled a delightful little book of poems touching the life of Marie Stuart, Queen of Scots and one time Queen of France
The book contains verses written to and about Mary by well known poets and some not so well known both ancient and modern. Members of the Marie Stuart Society have also
contributed.
The collection which tells Mary's story chronologically in verse and prose with black and white
illustrations and is Anne's personal choice from the poetry which has been submitted for inclusion
All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to a fund set up to raise money for the erection of a statue of Mary in Edinburgh.
The cost of the book is £5 plus postage (U.K. =50p. Europe (inc Ireland) £1.24 Rest of the World £1.64.
